Nelson Cheese Factory: A Delightful Destination for Cheese, Ice Cream, and More in Nelson, WI

My visit to the creamery was a new experience for me, and I loved the ambiance, the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the wide selection of wine and cheese they offered. It's a welcoming spot that I definitely suggest checking out, especially if you're a fan of Wisconsin cheese.

Another stop along the great river road that cannot be missed. Nelson Creamery is so good. The food, the wine, the cheese, the drinks, and of course the ice cream were just amazing. We got soups (delicious) with slices of bread (which was so delicious we ended up buying a whole baguette which we ate in one sitting) and ice cream. Sitting in the wine room watching the woodpeckers and kitties outside was divine. Oh so peaceful and romantic. Even on a cloudy day Nelson’s creamery was dreamy. Very high quality food and goods and service. Another place I can’t recommend enough.

One of my favorite places to go to when I’m in the area. Nothing tops the rum cherry ice cream . It’s an eclectic environment since many go for wine drinking , others ice cream , others to sit down and eat . Cheese selection is amazing and the freshness is yummy . Staff is always friendly . I’d give it six stars if I could .

Haven't been here in a long time. It's so great they now offer coffee drinks. I ordered dark chocolate Mocha Latte, I thought it was good. I also got the chicken salad sandwich. I will order it again, but I'm going to ask for mayo or something. The atmosphere is really nice. It was so nice to sit by the cozy fire.

The selection of, well, everything is amazing! We stopped by every day of our trip & I tried a different flavor of ice cream each time! (With more to choose from each day!!) They offered wine- by taste testing, enjoying a glass, or the whole bottle or 2! ... A wide range of smoked items- meats & cheeses. A huge selection of cheeses in every size! ... Dried mushrooms. ... golly soooo much & uniquely diversified.

This is always a great place to stop if you’re nearby. The amazing assortment of cheese, meats, wine, another delectables is eye popping. They also have sandwiches and ice cream. The sandwiches are top notch, I highly recommend the French roll, as a super fresh and they use the best meats and cheeses for these. I can’t go wrong with the variety of cheeses, they even have 12 year-old aged, sharp treader. The cheese curds are a staple everyone should get. They have a very nice private patio area in the back. Great for a place to rest and eat your sandwich or ice cream. Nice privacy with some beautiful scenery. Bottom of mine is I have something for everyone’s taste. They also have a very nice wine tasting area if you’re into that.

This is a neat cool place and a must stop ‼ They wine tasting room is amazing and had a cozy fire place. They have ton of different types of cheese and also carry a variety of different flavors of cheese, wines and crackers . They serve pizza and also have expresso coffee and homemade cookies and ice cream .
